Baluster-shaped vase in Belgian earthenware, with a short and slightly flared neck, adorned with a decor of flowing glazes exhibiting great spontaneity. A deep lavender blue descends from the shoulder in long drips, enhanced by night blue and bottle green spots, blending with saffron yellow flames on a finely crackled cream background. The play of glazes varies from each angle: on one side, almost pictorial vertical drips, while on the other, broader strokes evoke a stylised bouquet. The interior is light grey glazed and shows traces of turning. A strong and very luminous decorative piece that will find its place on a console, a fireplace, or a shelf, either alone or with a few branches. Marking. "BELGIUM" embossed in relief under the base, in a rectangular cartouche. Dimensions. Height: 21 cm – Diameter: 16 cm. Condition. Good vintage condition. Cream glaze crackles inherent to the technique, non-penetrating. A few small chips and missing glaze on the edge of the neck, visible up close.
