Art Deco vase in flamed yellow and blue faience - Boch Frères La Louvière Form 485 This model stands out for its masterful glazing work, offering a striking organic contrast: a bright lemon yellow upper part flows and merges into a deep Prussian blue at the base. Each piece thus presents unique shades. The neck and pedestal are enhanced by an original mount in gilded brass with finely chiseled decorations of beaded and twisted friezes, typical of the interwar period. The interior reveals an intense turquoise blue glaze, a sought-after characteristic of productions from this period. Marks and authentication under the base: Form number "485" embossed. Manufacture mark in gold at the centre (partially faded). Guarantee stamp "FRANCE" on the edge of the metal mount. A choice piece for an Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern interior, or to enrich a ceramics collection. Overall excellent condition. The glaze shows a fine natural surface crazing (craquelure) that attests to its authenticity. The colours have retained all their brilliance. No major chips, cracks, or restorations. Beautiful golden patina from use on the brass.
