Elegant walnut console table, typical of the Restoration period, featuring the sober and refined lines characteristic of this pivotal moment in French furniture. The top, made from carefully selected walnut, showcases a beautiful grain and a warm, authentic patina. The table has an integrated drawer in the front, which is compartmentalised for the orderly storage of writing accessories — pens, inkwells, papers — as was customary in the 19th century. The lock is functional and comes with its key. The silhouette is enhanced by a curved front leg, characteristic of the Restoration style, with a gentle and contained movement that brings elegance and lightness. The straight and simple back legs balance the overall design and reflect the aesthetic transition between the Empire and Louis-Philippe styles. Period: Early 19th century. Excellent condition after restoration in our cabinetmaking workshop. Waxed finish. Width: 81 cm. Depth: 47 cm. Height: 75 cm. Reference: 522V.
