Vintage Dansk Denmark IHQ solid Teak Oval Serving Bowl – Designed by Jens Quistgaard. Mid-century modern classic oval bowl designed by the legendary Jens Harald Quistgaard (JHQ/IHQ) for Dansk Designs. This iconic piece features Quistgaard’s signature "staved" construction—precision-joined teak wood with a rich patina, inspired by the hulls of Viking ships. Its bold, sculptural form and organic oval shape make it a perfect centerpiece, table bowl, or serving bowl for bread and fruit. Stamp-branded on the underside with "Dansk Designs Denmark IHQ" (the earlier and highly sought-after bowls). Made in Denmark (early production). Dimensions. Length 35 cm. Width: 24 cm. Height: 12 cm. Weight: 1135 g. Good vintage condition, with no cracks or repairs. Minor surface wear on the bottom from gentle use and handling. Light scuffs from use on one of the short sides of the bowl (see last photo).
