Saint-Louis Frosted crystal liqueur carafe with Louis XVI frieze inlaid with

This magnificent carafe is made of saint-louis crystal. It is a sublime water or liqueur carafe decorated with garlands of festooned flowers encrusted with gold, in the louis XVI style, on a frosted acid-etched background. This piece dates from the years 1900-1910, this model is present in the saint-louis catalog of 1908. This carafe does not bear a signature, the crystal factory having started to affix its acid-etched stamp in 1936. The carafe measures 25 cm in height X 9.5 cm in diameter. The stopper does not appear to be original, but it fits well. It has a bubble defect. I note scratches from use and a deposit in the bottom of the carafe.
