1980s “Sas” Chair by Jens Ammudsen for Fritz Hansen, Denmark

A fantastic lounge chair, model “sas”, designed by jens amudsen and manufactured by fritz hansen in denmark around 1980. This elegant chair has a chrome plated metal crossbase and tubular metal frame. The yellow leather upholstery adds to the expressive appeal. Of course this also adds to the seating comfort, especially combined with the matching upholstered armrests in the same material. A fantastic find for any decor looking for something elegant, functional and special! Labeled underneath the frame as shown in photos. The chair remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear that is consistent with its age and use and preserves a beautiful patina.
