Rare and spectacular Galassia post-Modern bed in painted wood, designed by the renowned Italian architect and designer Ettore Sottsass for Poltronova. Bibliography: Domus 407 (October 1963), p. D/131. Items made of Rosewood are subject to a special export process that may extend the delivery time an additional 2 to 4 weeks. This piece is attributed to the above-mentioned designer/maker, with no attribution mark. The bed dates back to the design period of 1960 to 1969 and was manufactured in Italy in 1968. It has been refinished with recoloured wood and is in excellent vintage condition, showing minimal traces of use and/or slight restorations. Dimensions: Width 200 cm, Depth 170 cm, Height 78 cm.
