Mahogany Tea Table – Late 19th Century

Charming two-tiered mahogany serving table with checkerboard marquetry. The oval tops, of different sizes, are decorated with diamond marquetry surrounded by a light wood and grain wood fillet. Each edge is inlaid with a light wood fillet. The upper top has bronze handles and rests on four concave legs at the top. The second top is embedded in the legs. These are highlighted with light wood fillets and taper towards the bottom. This refined serving table has four finely curved legs, joined by an X-shaped crotch shelf. ****** Period: Late 19th century Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
