Vintage side table/serving trolley on casters, signed Tubauto Levallois 1950 "Reconstruction" Post-war Reconstruction furniture with a light oak top and a second top in Rigitulle (black perforated sheet metal, in the style of Mathieu Matégot), with black tubular iron uprights on casters. Can be used as vinyl furniture. Stamped Tubauto Levallois. Jacques Hitier partnered with the manufacturer Tubauto for 15 years and designed numerous furniture models, primarily in metal tubing combined with soft materials such as wood, fabric, or rattan. This close relationship between a decorator and a manufacturer was unique.
