Dining table set and 6 stripped chairs by designer, architect and photographer Marc Held. A technique developed by the Mobilier Nationale for the Elysée Palace, President François Mitterrand's dining room. This chair model is ranked No. 3 in the execution of the refectory design of the IBM Montpellier la Lande headquarters in 1982. This series, listed on a small production run, is a maximum of 200 tables and 920 chairs to ensure the catering service of the 3, 000 employees present on the site at that time (archive photos). Chair in multi-ply plywood modeled in the mass with a slight relief that reveals ribs assembled by BTR screws and inserts. Stripped model identical to the copies belonging to Marc Held seen at Skolopéos. Table with laminated top, solid pine leg and steel wire structure.
