Large Beni Ouarain rug, 290 x 215 cm - G1034

A large refined Beni Ouarain rug where natural wool, texture, and subtle geometry come together in an exceptionally understated design. Woven almost entirely in warm ivory tones, the pattern is created by changes in pile height and weaving technique rather than contrasting colours, revealing a delicate composition of diamonds, abstract geometric shapes, and irregular linear patterns. From a distance, the rug appears serene and almost monochromatic. Up close, its sculptural texture reveals remarkable depth and craftsmanship — a beautiful example of how contemporary design can emerge from traditional Amazigh weaving techniques. Each rug is handwoven by Amazigh (Berber) artisans in our own Moroccan cooperative, made from 100% natural sheep wool, woven on a traditional Berber loom, individually knotted, and entirely finished by hand. Completely unique, with subtle variations characteristic of authentic handmade weaving. Colour palette: natural warm ivory, cream, soft ecru, subtle beige undertones.
