Sherbet bowls – French set of 6 fruit relief dessert coupes

Mid 20th century. Each bowl stands on a sturdy moulded pedestal with leaf detailing that mirrors the decoration around the body, giving the set a pleasing balance and weight. The glass has a gently pebbled texture through the main body, contrasting with the glossy raised fruit and leaves. From the photographs, the set presents in very good vintage condition: no visible cracks or major chips, just light age-related wear and minor surface marks consistent with careful use and storage over the decades. The relief decoration remains crisp and the colours beautifully preserved. A versatile and highly decorative set, equally at home serving ice cream, fruit, nuts or aperitif treats. ⸻ MEASUREMENTS In inches and pounds: • Height: 4.3 in. • Diameter: 4.7 in. • Weight: 0.89 lbs each / 5.36 lbs total.
