Important 4-sided screen / claustra representing the "4 elements" on the façade and the "4 seasons" on the reverse. Unique piece, ca 1940s. Mixed technique, hard pipe earthwork with a knife, in perfect original condition. The backgrounds of the paintings, the brass hinges and the structures of the wooden screen are also original, perhaps repainted or very well preserved. Surrealist expressionist painting perfectly reflecting the spirit of the 40s.
