Large size earthenware beardman jug

Large size earthenware beardman jug from Germany, late 18th century. Features a clear beardman figure with the number 4 below. The jug has a beautiful patina with various colours from the firing process. There is an old hairline crack under the handle as shown in the photos. A beautiful large example that will not look out of place in an authentic interior.
