Set of two chairs Thonet n°28 heart, perforated wood seat -1903

Set of 2 chairs of the model "Herzform", "heart" of Thonet, chair n ° 28, the motif of cordiality is taken up in the backrest, and in the seat. Edition 1885/1904. It is a half chair with slightly reduced dimensions compared to standard models (living room), however the seat height remains at 47 cm on this lot which is equipped with all its original seats, a thermoformed and perforated pattern rare in this state for all parts. The side brackets, optional at the time, contributed to these eight chairs arriving in good condition. We can not report anything in particular, the patina is normal, they served, not too much, just enough for a patina of 110 years. Total height: 86 cm, width ht: 39 cm. Each chair is stamped intaglio and has its own label (2). Tint under organic shellac: cherry. More photos and information on request. Expedition France and Europe or removal Alsace.
