Very beautiful planter from the Keller & Guérin (K.G.) factory in Lunéville. This rare piece stands out for its unique naturalistic decoration: the handles are formed by two stylised cicadas in relief, with wings finely striped in emerald green and highlighted by rich gilding in fine gold. The body of the planter features a decoration of poppy flowers (or anemones) in shades of purple and old rose, set against a typical cream mottled background of early 20th-century Lorraine craftsmanship. Theme: A rare encounter between Eastern faience and Provençal iconography (the cicada). Signature: Marked under the base "K. G. Lunéville France". Dimensions: Length 27 cm|Height 13 cm.
