Mid century retro vintage teak sideboard 1960. This stunning mid century design furniture piece was made by vanson and designed by peter hayward. With curved edges and tbar legs very exclusive as well as rosewood accents on the doors and drawers. Vanson was one of the more expensive and qualitative higher furniture makers and as a result in the higher sekment of the furniture market, prices were 25% higher than some of their competetors prices. All in all a fantastic stylish piece with a lot of storage possibilities. In a good used vintage condition. L 191cm X d 48cm X h 71cm. Vanson furniture was produced by w.g evans and sons. It was aimed at the high end of the market with a focus on expertly crafted modernist design. British designer peter hayward was head of design and ensured the company remained at the cutting edge of contemporary design throughout the mid 20th century.
