Cracked glass vase in gold by Andries Dirk Copier for Glasfabriek Leerdam

Andries Dirk Copier art glass vase in crackle and gold for Glasfabriek Leerdam, Netherlands, 1938. This is a very beautiful art glass vase by the famous Dutch glassmaker Andries Dirk Copier, made for the glassworks Glasfabriek Leerdam. The vase features a fascinating crackled gold pattern and has a lighter gold background colour. It has a very elegant shape with a rim that flows outward and a slightly protruding foot. This series of vases and objects, called 'Sonoor', was designed in 1938 by Copier, the most important Dutch glassmaker of the 20th century. In good vintage condition with minor signs of wear related to age and use, with a chip on the rim visible in the photos.
