Large mid-height piece of furniture from the 1960s, a masterpiece of modernist French design, designed by creator Louis Paolozzi for the famous high-end modular cabinetry line "Monopoly." The back of the furniture features a perfect finish in original teak veneer, designed to allow this piece to be displayed in the center of a room as a space divider or living room partition. Composition: A large display cabinet with two original sliding glass doors, housing an adjustable-height interior shelf. A bar/secretary module with a drop-down door. A chest of drawers with 4 large drawers featuring a beautiful interior structure in rosewood. A large storage module with two hinged teak doors. Sleek structure with square black tubular legs, finished with brass feet. Brass hinges and finishes, round recessed brass handles with retractable flip mechanism, perfectly integrated flush with the wood to preserve the clean lines of the facade. Patina on the handles. Specifically on this piece: 2 chips (left front and right front) on the interior glass shelf of the display cabinet. 1 chip at the top right corner of a sliding glass door. Cracks on the interior covering of the bar top. The right side of the furniture has a deep scratch that has been filled with wax, as well as 2 small veneer losses on the left rear side.
