Modernist armchair F. CARUELLE

Armchair convertible into a fireside chair / daybed by françois caruelle france, circa 1950 / modernist style aluminum and stainless steel frame, beech armrests, reversible burgundy vinyl / tartan seat the metal frame is in perfect condition, entirely original the vinyl is also in perfect condition, no tears, marks, scratches or other the filling of the three cushions remains very comfortable, it is neither compacted nor packed. The vents are present on the three cushions, the backrest fixing legs are fully functional the fabric / tartan part is partially discolored by the sun but shows no wear, tears etc. The diamond-shaped stamp often stuck on the back of the armchair is not present (the armchair has always been very well maintained, the label has not resisted the repeated passage of cloths and products for cleaning metal). An icon of post-war french design in perfect condition despite its almost 75 years!.
