This magnificent piece of furniture, completely characteristic of Art Nouveau, was found in Garches in a beautiful bourgeois house from the 1900s. It was a dining room piece of furniture called a buffet serving table. It is composed of two drawers, an open niche and a closed compartment. It once had a high part. It is made of solid oak, its tops are covered with a veneer. We recognize the Art Nouveau style by its woodwork worked all in curves, by the sculpted motifs also all in curves, by its ironwork... Its old handles have been replaced by shell handles but I kept them if necessary. In terms of renovation, this magnificent buffet was completely cleaned, airbrushed and then protected with a care oil. Its top shows some slight marks of time, such as for example the filled holes in the upper part. Both solid, practical and so retro chic, this buffet will bring its charm, its character and its elegance to your interior.
