Moulding from the Louvre Museum: Ameneminet and his wife Takha. Copy of an Egyptian relief from the 14th century BCE, published by the Louvre Museum. Height 57 - Width 66 - Thickness 8 cm. Weight 8.5 kg. Excellent condition with some minor imperfections. The photos may show some colour differences from the original. The original of this moulding comes from a tomb of the New Kingdom and represents a couple of Egyptian nobles. The figures are depicted with their faces in profile and shoulders facing forward. The style is representative of 18th Dynasty art, often regarded as the peak of pharaonic civilization. The inscription gives the name of the male figure: Ameneminet, son of Amenmès and the house mistress Depet, names that help date this relief to the time of Pharaoh Horemheb. The photo notice is not provided. This moulding can still be ordered as a special request from the museum, but at a starting price of €950 plus shipping costs. No shipping, to be collected on site.
