Vintage chest of drawers in modernist veneered wood from the 50s

French chest of drawers from the 1950s with a modernist design, both refined and functional. This light-colored veneered wood cabinet features a herringbone front and four spacious drawers, each adorned with original gilt metal handles typical of the utilitarian aesthetic of the post-war period. The overall dimensions are: height 90 cm, width 82 cm, depth 39 cm. The interior of the drawers offers a usable width of approximately 34 cm. A workshop label is partially preserved on the back of the cabinet, indicating its handcrafted construction. The cabinet is in good used condition: the cabinet is stable, the drawers glide smoothly, and the structure is solid. Traces of age are visible—scratches on the top, small veneer chips on the edges (see photos)—but they do not affect its use or charm.
