Beautiful traditional Chinese tea service, consisting of a teapot, 5 small cups, and a tray. Cracked beige porcelain, calligraphed with blue stamped characters "Epitaph", vintage, reproduction in Qing style, likely made between the 1950s and 1970s, in the spirit of pieces from the Qing imperial dynasty, with a so-called "Shunzhi" mark (apocryphal, for decorative purposes). Lobed tray, maximum length 26.5 cm, maximum width 22 cm, height 4 cm. Teapot with a handle made of brass or gilded bronze, rim at the neck, edge of the lid, and base, maximum height 17 cm without the handle, 23 cm with it, approximately 13 cm in diameter, cylindrical shape, approximately 18 cm maximum width with spout, large capacity. 5 small hexagonal cups, 5 cm in height, maximum width/diameter 6.5 cm. Very good overall condition, visible use but no accidents. Natural fine cracking and tea staining, particularly in the cups, wear on the metal of the teapot, oxidation and tarnishing on the rims, but the handle is clean, polished by use. Approximately 2.5 to 3 kg for the whole set.
