Vintage 1960 Luxo L1 architect lamp black mid-century design - 80 cm

Vintage Luxo L1 architect lamp in black lacquered metal circa 1960 in good condition. This beautiful vintage piece designed by Jacob Jacobsen has sold over a million copies since its creation (It is the descendant or evolution of the famous Pixar lamp, the lamp for designers). The color is stunning, showing signs of time and a very pleasant patina, with just the right amount of wear. The springs are also in good condition. Special mention to the thick clamp that allows for numerous adjustments. It is signed at the base, and the famous US Patent can be found on the top. It works with a screw bulb not included, and the push-button switch on the top of the shade functions properly. It measures 80cm in height, 70cm in depth, and the shade is 21cm wide.
