Chair by Christian Durupt, a French cabinetmaker who worked in the 1960s and was known for his solid wood creations. Made entirely of solid pine, the thick seat rests on four tapered legs and houses a high, slightly curved backrest with an integrated handle. Provenance: Méribel, France, circa 1960. Seat height: 42 cm.
