Pair of high-backed chairs by Christian Durupt, Méribel 1960

Pair of solid pine chairs designed by Christian Durupt, a French cabinetmaker who collaborated with Charlotte Perriand on mountain interiors in the 1960s. Each chair has a wide, comfortable seat supported by four subtly tapered legs. The high backrest, with its integrated handle, combines simplicity and practicality.
