Vintage Tomado bookcase by D. Dekker – 1950s

Four-tier freestanding bookcase designed by D. Dekker and manufactured by Tomado in the Netherlands in the 1950s. Its iconic design features a rectangular black lacquered metal frame, complete with original colored shelves. This functional piece is in good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age and use, visible in the photos. Please note: some shelves are slightly croqueted, but this does not detract from the aesthetics or solidity of the whole.
