Tomado vintage metal wall unit 1950s Dutch design

This Tomado metal wall unit with five shelf compartments was produced in the 1950s and designed by D. Dekker. The piece features a strong graphic composition with colours associated with De Stijl, reminiscent of the palette of colours used by Gerrit Rietveld. The unit can be placed against a wall or used freestanding as a room divider, making it suitable as a bookcase or display unit. Shows slight signs of use consistent with age.
