Faceted Art Deco vase in purple glass

I am parting with this very lovely vase (or tall bowl) from the Art Deco period, made of pressed glass tinted throughout in a delicate mauve/purple colour. It is an emblematic work by the designer Rudolf Schrötter for the Czech glassworks Inwald, produced in the 1930s (Moulures Modernes series). Its geometric faceted lines and octagonal neck beautifully capture the light. Like the vast majority of pressed glass pieces from this manufacturer at that time, it is unsigned, but the model is well documented by collectors of Bohemian glass. Condition: It is generally in good condition for its age, but has some minor signs of use and superficial micro-scratches to note (visible only upon very close inspection, but they do not detract from its aesthetic once placed). No major chips or cracks. Perfect on a vintage sideboard or at the centre of a table to add a touch of retro colour.
