Hugo Kohler Briel Decorative Wall Plate. A vintage folk art pottery plate created by Hugo Kohler Biel Ceramics Studios in Switzerland. It is from the Swiss Children series and features a portrait of a boy in traditional costume holding a bouquet of flowers next to a goat. The pottery plate has been hand decorated and glazed in a vibrant palette of mid-century hues. Has a hole in the upper back for hanging. The underside bears the maker's mark Hugo Kohler Bielhandarbeit. Diameter 29 cm. Weight 1kg400.
