Set of 4 Thonet bistro chairs

Superb quator of vintage bistro chairs from the middle of the last century in excellent condition after a slight restoration. They are all signed with the famous thonet brand (stamps present under each chair as well as the indication of the manufacture in czechoslovakia / "made in czechoslovakia") and in stained beech wood. The restoration consisted of a careful cleaning and then a slight essential sanding of the seats before the passage of a natural care oil in harmony with the patina. They are now clean in addition to being solid and very stable. Curved wood is not split as often happens on antique chairs. Of course some traces of use (scratches, impacts, discoloration, small visible repairs) of their old life give them all the charm of their great age and their history. These pretty, thin and very elegant bistro chairs of yesteryear, completely functional and from a former restaurant in the nantes region, also all have metal protective pads on the feet and their original wooden screw covers at the back of the backrests except for one of them which is missing 3 (photo, to be replaced possibly by sanded turrets and walnut varnish if no screw cover available). They will be ideal to give a bistro / vintage or guinguette atmosphere to your interior in mismatched mode for example around a table with other period or more contemporary models. Timeless classic, they will bring a bohemian chic deco note to your interior. Seat height: 47 cm (except one: 45 cm and back height 80 cm). Seat width: 38 cm. Sitting depth: 38.5 cm.
