Modernist coffee table in metal and smoked glass

Italian coffee table dating from the 50s with a smoked glass top and a small lower black plexiglass top. This living room furniture is a perfect example of post-war design with its refined aesthetic. Typical of the modernist research of its time, the work of metal tubes allows for the creation of clean and dynamic curves while providing a rigid structure. The black plexiglass top can only be used for magazines or small, light trinkets (flexible material). Very slight signs of use on the glass top.
