Magnificent presentation dish / aperitif tray, vintage barbotine, with three compartments (tripod) in Italian majolica ceramic from the famous Bassano factory in Italy (typical Nove/Bassano style), known for its craftsmanship in relief decorations inspired by nature. Period 1970/1980. Design & Details: The dish consists of three shiny white bowls connected at the centre by a superbly realistic relief decoration: a shiny red/burgundy apple resting on its textured green foliage. The apple also serves as a central handle for easy transport of the dish. Features: Origin: Bassano, Italy (stamped on the back: "Bassano", "ITALY" and model number "1132"). Material: Glazed ceramic / Majolica. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The glaze is very shiny, and the colours have remained vibrant. No cracks, overall beautiful appearance (see photos for details). Dimensions: 25cm long. 25cm wide. 8.5cm high. Carefully and securely shipped in thick bubble wrap.
