Aril Grande sideboard by Nils Jonsson for Hugo Troeds 1960s

This is a fabulous extra-long 'arild' grande mid century sideboard designed by nils jonsson in 1961 and produced by hugo troeds in sweden.a fabulous design. The sideboard is beautifully detailed, finished in a honey-coloured teak. Two sycamore lined cupboards with sliding doors and adjustable bevel-edged shelves that are a feature of jonsson's designs for troeds. Four drawers: the upper drawer is lined with blue felt and has cutlery dividers and a removable sliding tray. The right-hand door drops down to reveal an off-white melamine lined cocktail cabinet. Troeds is renowned for its beautifully crafted well designed mid-century furniture. Price for set. Condition: We have carefully stripped this set and refinished it with a coat of matt lacquer for a durable and lasting finish.
