Sideboard by Inger Klingenberg for Fristho Franeker, 1960s

This fabulous rosewood credenza is by female Danish designer Inger Klingenberg, who was married to American designer Ross Littell. They started a design agency in Copenhagen in 1958 and made some designs for Fristho that were taken into production and presented in 1960 at the Cologne furniture fair as the 'Inger-series'. This credenza is model Inger-195 and features 'Indisch Palissander' finished doors and a beautiful flamed Rio Rosewood finish on the inside doors.
