Earthenware vase from the baca series, one of the last series designed by nils thorsson (1898-1975) for aluminia whose name disappeared in 1969 to make way for that of royal copenhagen. It is marked under the base: 870 for the decoration created by nils thorsson and 3752 for the shape created by nils thorsson in 1974, as well as nils thorsson's signature inscribed in a ring. Indeed, the word baca meaning "ring", the signature of each artist who created a decor, appears in a circle on the back of each piece in the series. The small bar under the "e" of copenhagen, indicates that this vase was produced between 1974 and 1978.
