This superb traditional Japanese teapot, called Kyūsu, is an authentic piece made of Arita porcelain (Imari style). It stands out with its elegant side handle, designed for perfect ergonomics when serving green tea. The body in white porcelain is richly adorned with chrysanthemum patterns (a symbol of longevity in Japan) and cobalt blue geometric friezes. The colourful details and the finesse of the painting make it a refined decorative object as well as a functional utensil. Notable features: Origin: Japan (marked on the base). Material: Fine Arita porcelain. Technical detail: Integrated ceramic filter (sasame) at the spout's base, allowing tea leaves to be retained while releasing aromas. Style: Classic Japanese / Imari / Wabi-sabi. Condition: The item is in very good vintage condition. There is a slight patina of use inside (natural colouring due to tea infusion), which attests to its authenticity and history. No cracks, no chips on the spout or lid.
