Vintage standing coat rack by Hank Loewenstein – 1970s

Vintage standing coat rack designed by Hank Loewenstein, probably from the 1970s. A sleek, sculptural shape in light wood with four large, round hooks at the top. The discs offer ample space for coats, bags, and scarves and are gentle on the fabric. The coat rack has a crossed base, making it sturdy yet compact. It looks great in a minimalist hallway, bedroom, or studio, nestled among modern and vintage furniture. Dimensions. Overall dimensions: 59 × 165 cm (W × H) Diameter top with hooks: 39 cm. Material. Solid wood (light wood, probably beech/ash) Condition. Good vintage condition. Stable and solid. Visible signs of wear on the base and some minor imperfections in the wood, consistent with its age and perfectly in keeping with the character of the piece (see photos).
