Tom robertson designed this large dining table for a.h. Mcintosh in the early ’70s, in scotland. In this table we see how tom robertson’s designs become more clean and with a more powerful presence, the “less is more” from mies van der rohe is a key used by most of the mid-century designers. The original feature of this table is the beautiful joint created to attach the top to the legs’ structure, a curve and fine solid teak shaped to join the structure and the legs. With a single long extension stored under the main tops the table is easily convertible in a long table. Dimensions. L. 200 cm. W. 92 cm. H. 74 cm. Table extended 260 X 92 h 74 cm. Gap (long side) 190 X 63 cm. Gap (short side) 83 X 63 cm.
