This Arne Vodder drop-leaf extra-long teak extension table from the 1960s showcases a classic mid-century modern aesthetic with a warm teak wood finish. It was made by Sibast Furniture in Denmark. It features a compact rectangular top with hinged drop leaves on either side, offering flexible functionality. Additionally, the table includes two extension leaves, each 56 cm wide, allowing it to extend up to an impressive 290 cm in width when fully unfolded. This provides ample seating for up to 10-12 guests. The combination of two drop leaves, which can fold down or be fully detached, and two separate extension leaves offers multiple configuration options to suit different needs. The table is supported by four tapered legs, contributing to its elegant and minimalist Scandinavian style. Its craftsmanship highlights smooth, clean lines and refined details, reinforcing its timeless appeal. The table has been fully restored, including a fresh satin lacquer coating for protection. Minor signs of use have been intentionally preserved to maintain its authenticity, enhancing its vintage character without compromising aesthetics. Our goal is to restore furniture to its best condition while respecting its 60-year history. Additional Dimensions: Two extension leaves, each one 56cm. Two side drop leaves, each one 53 cm.
