Bureau lamp / bedside lamp Bauhaus chrome metal & opal glass, design 1970

Table lamp with Bauhaus design. Chrome metal structure forming a curved line and supporting a half-spherical opal white glass shade (diameter 20cm). The whole rests on a square chrome base measuring 16 by 16cm. E27 screw socket and toggle switch. Electricity is controlled and functional. Very good condition for age and use. No breaks or chips on the glass. Chrome shows some signs of micro-scratches but is not pitted. Sculptural presence, typical of design from the second half of the 20th century. Perfect as a desk lamp, living room lamp, or bedside lamp.
