With its understated geometric lines and elegant elongated silhouette, this Parisian bonnetière is a beautiful illustration of French Art Deco style from the 1930s to 1940s. Fully sanded, it reveals a bright light oak that modernises its appearance while retaining the charm of antique furniture. Materials: solid oak structure and oak veneer. Original metal hardware including an arched door handle and a bar handle on the drawer. Features: this Parisian bonnetière features a typically Art Deco façade composed of geometric panels and structured lines. Its central door, adorned with a rectangular mirror and carved floral motifs in the wood, opens to reveal a functional storage space fitted with three fixed shelves. At the bottom, a drawer discreetly completes the ensemble. The door closes with a magnet (previously installed) and the drawer slides well. Renovation: the Art Deco bonnetière has been fully sanded, then washed before being protected with a lightly tinted wax. Its shelves and the inside of the drawer have been painted in Farrow & Ball's Green Smoke. The shelves and the inside of the drawer have been painted in Green Smoke by Farrow & Ball. Dimensions: L89 X D39 X H195. Cupboard: L86.5 X D35 X H157. Spacing between the shelves from top to bottom: 48-25-20 or 40. Drawer: L73.5 X H7. Both compact and elegant, and easy to integrate, this Art Deco Parisian bonnetière will bring character to a bedroom, an entrance, or an interior with a contemporary style mixed with the old. A timeless piece with refined lines.
