Old painting "Marine with boats" signed Marie Piat, 1930s-40s

Very beautiful seascape, oil on paper or cardboard representing fishing boats at the quays with on one of them, two fishermen. It is signed lower right Marie Piat (1880 -1977, Painter from Forez who participated in numerous fine art exhibitions, notably with the Forez Arts Society. It is framed with a magnificent period frame in gilded wood, decorated with friezes, and protected by a glass. Condition: in perfect condition, except for some small dust spots at the bottom of the frame on the mat and a very small lack in the frame (see photos). We will especially notice here the dexterity and talent of the painter who, starting from bright colors, knew how to bring this scene of returning from fishing to life.
