Longwy bowl and box in beige crackle enamel with gold decoration

An elegant Longwy set comprising a crespina bowl and an octagonal box in beige crackle glaze, decorated with gilt foliate motifs. France, 20th century. The bowl (24 cm in diameter) features a scalloped rim and a generous surface enlivened by the crackle glaze of the beige enamel, typical of 20th-century Longwy work. At its center, a stylized gilt foliate motif catches the light and underscores the piece's elegance. The octagonal box (6.6 X 9 cm) adopts the same understated and warm palette, its lid also bearing a gilt decoration. Both objects are stamped on the reverse with the blue mark "Émaux de Longwy – Décoré à la main – France" (Longwy Enamels – Hand Decorated – France), used in the 1980s, guaranteeing their authenticity.
