Pair of "600/5" table lamps by Gemi, 1960s

Aluminium shades, brass gooseneck arms, black painted metal cone supports and satin-finished aluminium bases. Both lamps retain the Gemi maker's mark and the model number "600/5" stamped underneath the base. Table lamps model "600/5", produced by Gemi in Sweden during the 1960s. The adjustable aluminium shade is connected to the base by a flexible brass gooseneck and a black painted metal conical support, allowing the direction of the light to be adjusted with precision. The ventilation slots integrated into the upper section of the shade improve heat dissipation and are among the model's distinctive features. Both examples retain the Gemi maker's mark and the "600/5" model number stamped underneath the base. Good condition. They show signs of age and use like soft scratches on the metal.
