Black and White Bench Seat Revamped

Period: ca. 20th century, reupholstered this bench can be used all around the house; it can be used in the bedroom, as a dressing table seat, a piano stool, a hallway bench. The wooden frame and legs have been stained with black ink, which allows the grain and patterns of the wood to show through. A matte varnish protects the surfaces. The shape of the legs and the curved raised sides have a slight art deco feel. The bench has been reupholstered in a new modern black and white fabric with stylized fan-shaped floral motifs that also give a nod to the art deco style. Condition: good. This item has been stained, varnished, and reupholstered with a new foam and textile seat. There is a small gap between two joints but this is not a structural problem and the seat is sturdy.
