Wooden farm stool, handicraft, XIXh century

Wooden farmhouse stool - handicraft - 19th century. Small wooden farm or milking stool, with spacer. The pieces of wood being held by nailing (original nails, 2 more recent nails on one of the sides), this implies that the stool is slightly shaky laterally. It is possible to perfect the stabilization by reinforcing by a glue, but for the moment I preferred to leave it in its original state. A priori elm, but wood species not guaranteed. Pretty patina related to time. Some marks, traces, scratches, wear, a splinter of wood, related to time. Just was waxed recently. Ideal as a small extra support: footrest, plant rest etc ... Size: Length: 36cm. Width: 18.5cm. Height: 20cm. Weight: 830gr.
