Lot 3. Set of four charming antique dessert plates in Terre de Fer from the Longchamp pottery, "Daisies" polychrome model, very rare, late 19th to early 20th century circa 1890-1910. Magnificent romantic Art Nouveau decor, bucolic, featuring daisies, foliage, grasses, and scrolls in dark pink transfer, delicately enhanced by hand with shades of fuchsia pink, mauve, nuanced green, yellow, and brown. The edge is slightly scalloped. 22cm in diameter and 2cm high. Very good overall condition, two plates have a natural superficial crack in the glaze, one with 2 hairline cracks on the back that do not go through, invisible when placed down, the other two are impeccable, with only a few very rare, extremely discreet traces of cutlery in the center. Approximately 250g per piece, totaling 1kg for the set.
