4 antique dessert plates Longchamp Daisies earthenware

Lot 2. Set of four charming antique dessert plates in Ironstone from the Longchamp pottery, "Daisies" polychrome model, very rare, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, circa 1890-1910. Magnificent romantic Art Nouveau decor, bucolic, featuring daisies, foliage, grasses, and scrolls in dark pink transfer, delicately enhanced by hand with shades of fuchsia pink, mauve, muted green, yellow, and brown. The rim is slightly scalloped. 22cm in diameter and 2cm high. Very good overall condition for their age, two plates have a natural superficial crack in the glaze, one with an original glaze run in the centre, the set shows hardly any rare signs of cutlery. Close to new condition. Approximately 250g each, totalling 1kg for the set.
